A low impact, total body workout performed at a ballet barre. It combines elements of Pilates, Yoga, resistance training and ballet into a highly effective workout. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that burns fat and improves cardiovascular fitness.

Jo attended ballet from the age of 3 and trained professionally from the age of 13 at Tring Park School for Performing Arts then a 3 year diploma course at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts where she qualified as an ISTD dance teacher. She’s worked commercially as a dancer for a number of years in the UK and during her time travelling in Australia. She has taught the ISTD syllabus to children in Modern and Ballet. Jo attended barre classes for several years and has fallen in love with it. She is now a qualified BarreConcept instructor which is accredited internationally.
